Yogurt Version

Recipe makes 1 serving.

  • 3/4 cup Greek Yogurt (low sugar)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1.5 Tbs Honey
  • 1/2 Cup Blueberries

Stir the cinnamon, vanilla, and honey into the yogurt.

Add the blueberries.

Enjoy!

Smoothie Version

Recipe makes 1 serving.

  • 1/2 cup Blueberries
  • 1/4 Water
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt (low sugar)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1.5 Tbs Honey
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1/2 cup Milk (may be dairy, nut, etc.)

Put the blueberries, honey, and water into a small pot. Cover. Heat on medium low until the blueberries are tender enough to crush with a spoon.

Use the spoon to press the blueberry mixture through a small strainer to remove the blueberry skins. (This will make the smoothie smoother.)

Place the blueberry mixture in the refrigerator to cool. (This can be done in larger quantities, and can be done the day before.)

Put the blueberry combination, banana, cinnamon, vanilla, yogurt, and milk into a blender. Note: The primary purpose of the milk is to thin the smoothie – adjust for preferred consistency.

Blend until smooth.

Enjoy!
