I’m working hard to get the last couple of poems perfect for my Poetry of the Heart chapbook. Meanwhile, I’m deciding on a picture for the cover. I’m considering some, but I’m just not happy yet.

I want to use a picture I take, like I did for the first book, but it needs to be the right picture. Not too cliche, but something that clearly says it’s a book about love, longing, and loss. Maybe two birds? Stick with the flower theme? A couple rings? Wedding pic? It’s all so boring.

What would you put on the cover?
